Our Wines

From our first wine bottled five years ago to current vintages aging in
French oak barrels, Valerie Hill is committed to producing wines that are
true to Virginia and its unique terroir.  Classic Virginia reds, like our popular
Cabernet Franc, bold and rustic Petit Verdot, and velvet-smooth Merlot,
are true to the characteristic of the varietal, while our Bordeaux-style blends
are a tasteful display of our winemaker's artistry.  

Our whites are a simple expression of the grape, primarily fermented
and aged in stainless steel or predominantly neutral oak;
clean and fruit forward to preserve the delicate floral notes of our
Vidal Blanc while balancing fruit and oak with graceful elegance in our Chardonnay.
